Giant chili crab, giant crab, chili crab recipe

This is my simple giant chili crab recipe.
No measurements included, as you can adjust the taste to your preference

Ingredients:
Giant crab (the one in the picture is 1 kilo)
oil
chopped garlic
chopped onion
chopped ginger
2 cups water
1 tablespoon starch dissolve in a little water
catsup
sugar
chili paste (i used korean chili paste – gochujang)
salt and pepper to taste
sliced green onions for garnish

Procedure:
Boil water in a large pan, add crab and boil a little till it turns red, remove from pan. Cool, then open it, separate the legs, pincers (cut these in two). Remove the top shell, and cut the body in two.

In a large pan, saute garlic, onion and ginger.
Add water, catsup, sugar, chili paste, salt and pepper. Adjust these ingredients to suit your taste. Then add the crab, boil till cooked. Add the dilluted starch, slowly check if the desired thickness is to your preference. Add green onions.

Serve hot with rice.

Enjoy!
